It was announced today that New Jersey Governor Christie intends to replace Ken Kobylowski who is leaving his position as Commissioner of Banking and Insurance with Richard J. Badolato who will be nominated to the position shortly. Mr. Badolato, a partner at the law firm of Connell Foley in Roseland, has expertise in civil trial litigation. His expertise includes medical, legal, and dental malpractice litigation; products liability; automobile litigation; insurance coverage and policy interpretation and subrogation recovery. He has served as President of the New Jersey State Bar Association, President of the New Jersey State Bar Foundation and Chairman for the Supreme Court Advisory Committee on Professional Ethics. He also served as Chairman of the Supreme Court of New Jersey Commission on Professionalism in the Law. Richard J. Badolato will begin in this position on August 1, 2015.
