North Carolina: On July 2, North Carolina enacted House Bill 118. The Bill provides limited immunity from liability for claims based on transmission of the COVID-19 virus.
Texas: The Texas Department of Insurance (DOI) announced it will continue to issue temporary insurance licenses indefinitely during the COVID-19 pandemic. The DOI’s FAQs provide further guidance on the licensing process.
