As previously reported here and here, in June President Obama appointed Roy Woodall to the Financial Stability Oversight Council (FSOC) as the voting member with insurance expertise required by Dodd-Frank. On Monday, September 26, 2011, Mr. Woodall’s appointment was confirmed by the Senate. As reported in our earlier post here, a week earlier, Mr. Woodall had been approved by the Senate Committee Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs.
