As an update to our previous post, the Board of Directors of the Vermont Captive Insurance Association (VCIA) announced its appointment of Diane Leach, the Association’s current Director of Education and Program Planning, as its interim president. Ms. Leach was the Association’s first staff person when she joined it in 1988 and has held her current position for over a decade. This appointment follows Senator Patrick Leahy’s (D-Vt.) recommendation of VCIA’s current president, Molly Lambert, for the State Director for Rural Development for Vermont and New Hampshire position.
Ms. Leach will assume the presidency upon Ms. Lambert’s departure from the Association. VCIA’s Board of Directors will outline a formal search process for the future president during its June meeting.
