In order to help prepare the ground for the development of implementing measures once the Solvency II proposal has been adopted, the Committee of European Insurance and Occupational Pensions (CEIOPS) will run a fourth quantitative impact study between April and July 2008. Commission Services is organising a Public Hearing on 28 January 2008 in order to provide interested parties with an opportunity to discuss the draft QIS4 specifications. Panel sessions at the Public Hearing will cover the following topics: Groups, SMEs, and the use of internal models.
