EAPD is a co-sponsor of International Law Weekend, October 21-23 in New York.  EAPD’s Vince Vitkowsky is co-chair of the event.  There are over 30 panels on public and private international law, including panels on Non-Party Discovery in Aid of Arbitration under the FAA and US Discovery in Aid of Foreign and International Tribunals under Section 1782, Private International Law and Cross-Border Consumer Redress, Managing Discovery in International Commercial Arbitration:  The Institutional Response, 15 Years of TRIPS Implementation (TRIPS is WTO Agreement on Trade-related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights), Bribery (addressing the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and other bribery and corruption laws), and several environmental panels.  The full schedule can be found here, and registration can be done on line by clicking here.
