EAPD has recently published the second electronic version of its ‘Commercial Litigation Review’ (August 2009), which focuses on the hot topics currently facing businesses in the UK and throughout the world.

The ‘Special Focus’ article of this edition focuses on the draft UK Bribery Bill, which has now been put before Parliament. EAPD’s James Maton (partner, London) was recently asked to give evidence to Parliament on the terms of the Bill.

The publication also looks at the increasing trend of the courts to push the parties to mediation; Lord Justice Jackson’s analysis of the increased costs of litigation and the Woolf reforms ten year on, along with other topics.
