On July 8, 2009, the Oregon Department of Consumer & Business Services issued a press release announcing the official appointment of Teresa Miller as the Administrator of the Oregon Department of Consumer & Business Services Insurance Division. Ms. Miller is a graduate of Willamette University School of Law and has worked for the Oregon Department of Justice as well as serving as the legislative director for Governor Ted Kulonoski. Ms. Miller has also lobbied on behalf of various businesses and organizations.
Teresa Wheeler stepped in as acting Insurance Administrator late last year upon Scott J. Kipper’s October 31, 2008 resignation as reported here.
