New Jersey:  On August 10, the New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance issued Bulletin 20-29 regarding the Extension of Suspension of requirement for an Independent Monitor for Continuing Education Courses in response to COVID-19. The expiration of the bulletin corresponds with the end of Executive Order 103.

Texas:  On August 10, the Texas Department of Insurance, Division of Workers’ Compensation, extended the expiration date of an emergency rule, 28 TX ADC 167.1, until October 8, 2020. This rule allows health care providers licensed to perform physical medicine and rehabilitation services, to bill and be reimbursed for services currently allowed under CMS telemedicine and telehealth billing codes.
